Hello. My name is Kelly and I had a partial vaginal hysterectomy...uterus and cervix. Diagnosis from pathologist was adenomysois which was causing my cramping and bleeding. I also have PCOS which I have been trying to treat for years. Left hospital with no pain and never took pain meds...until I was struck with fever, chills, and body aches. I was hospitalized with a cuff infection (where the cervix was removed and stitched) and started 2 IV
antibiotics...days in hospital I came home with levaquin. I suffered with numerous bacterial and yeast infections from constant hormone changes from PCOS and Mirena I had inserted to help PCOS...and it's possible I had a bacterial infection which caused the cuff infection. I am JUST starting to feel better today. Don't get me wrong.....I am GLAD I did this...infection happens.
