I got a wheeping cherry tree for mothers day many years ago. We moved three years ago and it broke my heart to have to leave it. I think you have inspired me to get another one. I love to prune....maybe I should bring my pruning sheers. My neighbors think I am nuts because I prune some of my stuff to the ground and then it comes back bigger than ever. Jacob was NOT PLEASED with mom this morning. He had to go get his hair cut and then he threw the sucker stick that the barber had given him on my car floor. I said, "Okay Jacob, since you need to learn how to respect moms stuff, you can clean out her car." So, that was all the grumpiness in the picture. I know, I know, I am an mom. So, mom has a clean car. Had to do this to get it cleaned though. After Jacob was done, he said . And I told him for a great job, lol. I loved your solution to the stick on the floor. I wish I was that ingenious! I agree with Becky, just prune the long one to look like the rest and leave it alone. It's beautiful!
