She is gentically my husband and my daughter, and a wonderful lady who I now consider to be our best friend, carried her to term for us. I had a radical hysterectomy but was able to keep my ovaries for long enough to go through IVF and have our daughter. We are very blessed in every way Sally

Also Sally, it is really a blessing that you were able to have a wonderful daughter through surrogacy. I would very much love to have a child through surrogacy and find a gestational donor because I still have my ovaries. However, when I discovered the costs involved, I know that it would be impossible because we do not have that kind of money. My other option would be to adopt as well...it really hurts sometimes because I've always dreamed of having my own child of flesh and blood. I know that I can give the same love to a child through adoption also, but it still would have been nice to have conceive. Anyway, thank you for sharing the information. isabelle ca *SAH 07-26-05*
