While I am glad you finally got answers, I am saddened by what the answer is! I guess you kept your ovaries during your hysterectomy~I hope there is something they can do other than want to remove them! Please be well and keep us posted! You are in my thoughts and prayers! Elayne

Dawnie,
Ovarian Cysts are often associated with low progesterone. A lot of ladies get relief from ovarian cysts by supplementing with progesterone cream. I have had cysts myself and know how painful they are. I have personally known people who have successfully used progesterone cream to alleviate the problem with ovarian cysts. I also think it might help with your mood issues that you mentioned before. Here is a link to some info about progesterone. Most doctors are pretty clueless when it comes to progesterone so you may have to go in to your doctor with a lot of information. p209.ezboard.com/fhysterhomefrm14.showMessage?topicID=79.topic Becky in OHIO ![]() LAVH/BSO 10-99 Becky's Garden www.purevolume.com/rockonml If you have been helped by Hyster Home. Hi Dawn, I know how frustrating this is. When I had my first surgery years ago I kept 1 ovary & partial of another (I think). The cysts came back and I had pain all over again. They would act up from time to time and it was tuff. That was years ago and now treatment is much different Sister KatieTAH/BSO 1/2/2001 Free At Last! I am not a medical professional.
