Also, if you had to have the ovaries removed at a later date was there a lot of pain or not as bad as the hysterectomy pain? Donna Little Ida LAVH 4/2004 I am not a medical professional. I had thought about keeping them, but had talked to several woman who kept theirs and later had to end up getting them removed or about to get them removed. I decided that I only wanted to have surgery once, so remove it all. Louise LAVH(complete) 01-05-06 Pain free and happy
