Of course always ask your doctor but I thought it would be interesting to compare. I was told it was to allow the cervix to heal and not be subject to any bacteria that may enter from being submerged in water. LSH on OCT 31, 2003 for Fibroids, Polyps, Adenomyosis

The doctors at the hospital told me to wait another 4-6 weeks, but I suspect that they said this for anyone, no matter what kind of surgery they had. The post of my LSH sister above is quite enlightening. That's what I would have expected, so I will ask the doctor again! Thanks
