My hysterectomy was done by Dr. Wayne Breen at Doctors for Women in Covington, Louisiana--surgery at St. Tammany Medical Center. The experience was fabulous. If you want to be well informed, have time to make your own decisions, be able to ask ANY question, have plenty of follow up... this is the place to go. He's been a patient before and has a great bedside manner. Also can sew me a quilt any time as his sewing skills are FINE--I only lost about 2 teaspoons of blood and everything was double sutured. You may be in the waiting room a while, but it's worth it. Every patient is treated like a wife or daughter, not some cow in a cattle processing plant. The # is (985) 867-5344. I saw another doctor in a different city for my original biopsy and was treated like garbage, left with more questions than answers and a lot of pain... my GP doc referred me to Dr. Breen... and he lived up to and beyond my expectations. I'd send my daughter to him in a heartbeat.
