Hello Ladies..... I am 31 female. When i was 30 i had a LAVH(laprascopy assisted vaginal hysterectomy).. I was having painful menstrual cycles and i was filling up 2-3 maxi pads in hr. And of cource that was not good. Prior to this my mother had passed away with ovarian cancer.. And i did not want to take that chance.. So rightaway i went to my dr and he sent me to a ob/gyn. And the tests came out fine (no cancer--thank god).... But they tried me on the shot the pill and it did not work at all. My menstrual cycles were really still painful and flowing alot (the pain was enough to keep me in bed for 2 days at the most with fever.. Then they would not last a wk they would come and go when ever they pleased.. So it was making it hard for me to work or to dothings take care of my fiance or my kids......So enough was enough the ob/gyn set me all up and i went into the hospital on a monday @6 am and they prep me and did all that good stuff and by 730 they were underway. I remember coming to in my room (feeling oh so wonderful), And seeing my fiance smiling at me... It was such a happy feeling but i went back to sleep and slept most of the 3 days i was there. Missed my 2 children alot but they were fine with family....My pain medicane was my best freind that time...:).. But here i am know a year later and i feel great.... Happy to be me.... Hope to hear from anyone....take care and remember please get annual ob gyn visits....
