Well its getting close now 4days.I have a couple more questions I'm having TAH ovaries also.

Does everyone have the bowel prep because I haven't heard anything from my Drs.about that.

I was also reading some of the other post about anti-nausea drip should everyone request this I've never had surgery before so this is all new to me.

A very nice person from the yahoo cervical dysplasia group told me to check this sight out. I just want to thank everyone for their posts. I have been very scared of having this surgury...It came totally out of the blue when they told me I had early cancer and CIN111. I never had any of the primary symptoms ... only painful periods but that has been forever.

As many of you know, I had a SAH on 2/6/06.

I would like to share some information with all of you BEFORE you have your hysterectomy.

I am NOT a doctor, and this view is strictly my own opinion, as well as the opinion of many other women out there who have had a hysterectomy.

If you have healthy organs (ovaries and cervix), there is no need to have them removed.

Boy did I miss you guysl! Well, I came home last night from my Mom's. She is so wonderful...she took great care of me! In case some of you don't know me I had a supracervical hyst which is where they remove my cervix w/fibroids and I keep my ovaries and cervix.
