			<description><![CDATA[ At the ripe young age of 31, my OB/GYN has offered me a hysterectomy (just the uterus, not the ovaries-don&#39;t know the term for that) and I am fighting with
myself about it.  Every month during my period, I cry and moan and feel like I&#39;m dying, I want the hysterectomy RIGHT NOW! but then my period passes and my
brain tells me it wasn&#39;t all THAT bad and that I can live with it-that a hyster is too drastic for my age.

I saw a second GYN today and tomorrow have a consult with the radiologist for a possible UAE.<br><br>I'm torn. Hysterectomy or UAE. I have to do something. He refers to it as Fibroid Alternative Surgery. I didn't realize this type of surgery was available. Possibly, the docs I've consulted aren't trained in this procedure and didn't mention it. Working well. Still have serious pain. I am so distressed by it all I don't know what to do next. Consultant said that there were large veins around the ligaments on the right hand side of uterus which could cause pain. Would a hyst remove these? would I have to have a total hyst to remove them.
